Bogey is the level of earnings in an incentive compensation or commission below where no incentive compensation is earned .
What is Gross Profit meant?
Gross Profit = ( Quantity sold x Unit Price – Quantity sold x Unit Cost = Gross Profit)
What are the Expenses or Cost adjusted or deducted from Gross Profit?
The following are the cost adjusted /deducted from Gross Profit as explained above:
- Vendor Freight In
- Bogey
- Vendor Freight Out
- Bank Fee /Intermediary Fee
- Tariff/ Custom Fees and Taxes
- Sales Tax charged by vendor
- Shipping if Customer did not provide Freight Account
- All Testing Cost
- Sales Discounts Taken by Customer
- Re-stocking Fee
- Parts placed in inventory as a result of spec buy that end up botch
- Rebate paid to customer
- Other cost directly associated and incurred to complete the sale not mentioned on this list
Will my Gross Profit be adjusted as a result of a RMA?
When an RMA is issued , and the parts received a Credit Invoice simultaneously issued and is deducted against Gross Profit for the particular month.
My Sales Person Flash Inquiry indicated that I have a positive Commission Earned , how come I did not receive a commission?
Commission Earned tab in the Sales Person Flash Inquiry informs you of Gross Profit earned, but not PAID. Sales Person is entitle to Commission based on Invoice(s) paid for the particular month and not earned or orders shipped.
Will my commission payable eligible for the 401k match by company?
No , your commission does not qualify for the 401k match .
Does accounting sends a summary of my commission payable before paid to me ?
No , accounting does not provide a summary of your commission payable or any other related report that may be of interest . Such information can be found in the Sales Person Flash Inquiry in EPDS .
Do I get a detailed list of Freight In and out from Accounting ?
No, Accounting will not provide any Freight Report.
Does accounting provides detail report of “adjustment or landed cost“?
No, Accounting will not provide Adjustment or Landed Cost detail.
